Lunch & Healthy Eating

Break time and Lunchtime

Children throughout the school should bring a healthy snack to enjoy at morning break-time.

Children must bring a water bottle to school each day as we encourage regular drinks during class lessons as part of our healthy regime. Water is the only drink allowed in school unless there is a medical reason for a child to have a different drink, in which case permission will be granted by the Headteacher.
.

Lunchtimes are fully supervised. All parents will need to consider their own child(ren)’s dietary requirements equipping them with their own packed lunch to be eaten in the classrooms. We encourage and promote healthy eating in the school and ask that pupils are provided with a healthy and nutritious meal and we help to ensure that their lunchtime is an enjoyable experience.

Milk

As part of the government initiative, Pre-Prep pupils may receive a carton of milk after morning-break free of charge. Please let us know if you do not wish for your child to receive milk upon joining the school. Milk is also available and can be paid for on a termly basis for any other child in the school.
