There was great excitement at Stella Maris School on the morning of 10th May when our friends from Stockport County Football Club called in to show their recently won trophy to the children. Lots of interesting questions were asked and the children were fascinated to be so close to the trophy and able to handle it.  Stockport County Community Trust works with the school and as well as delivering Games lessons and other sporting clubs they offer workshops to the school.  Recent workshops included the E-Safety workshop and a very interesting programme of Finance Training.  The school enjoys its partnership with Stockport County.
