Our Buddy System
At Stella Maris School our children take great care of each other. Our buddy system operates between the Pre-Prep children and our experienced Year 6 children. Each new starter is assigned a buddy from the Year 6 class who looks after them and becomes their special helper in the early days of starting school. Lovely friendships develop between the children and valuable skills for life are acquired by both our young starters and older children.
