Participating in outdoor education is a very important part of life at Stella Maris School. As well as our Forest School provision, games lessons and regular fresh air breaks during the school day, the children frequently access outdoor lessons, either in the school garden or in designated areas of the playground. Outdoor fun and learning is an essential part of good mental health and appreciation of nature. The school’s gardening club, which includes all age groups, looks after and maintains the school garden and the children are very proud of what they have achieved in their garden.
