Residential Trip for Years 5 and 6

Excitement is building in the Year 5 and 6 classes, as the children prepare to go on their residential trip next Wednesday.  Residential trips are great opportunities for older children to enjoy some quality time with their friends away from home, as well as developing important skills of resilience and independence as they prepare for senior school and beyond. This year the children are going to Willersley Castle in Matlock Bath and are looking forward to a range of activities, from fencing and climbing to zip wire and archery. There will also be a guided walk to the local town to look at its rich history and a movie night to look forward to.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that the lovely weather continues for the duration of the trip!
