Now the weather is becoming warmer the children at Stella Maris School are out and about in the school grounds, enjoying the fresh air and their outdoor education. As well as our Forest School provision, children enjoy being in the school garden and have taken ownership of the upkeep of the gardening and the daily watering. The garden space is also used for picnic lunches and outdoor lessons. During the next couple of weeks the playground is getting a make-over and new games and play areas are being drawn out and marked, with funding from the school’s PTA. This addition will enhance the playtime experience for our children and give extra opportunities for creating new games at lunchtimes.
