PTA
The role of our school’s PTA is all encompassing… from organising social events for the children and their parents to selling second hand uniform and organising fundraising events, the PTA always has something on the go! All parents/guardians/grandparents are welcome to join Stella Maris school’s PTA and can get involved as much or as little as your time allows.
All funds raised through PTA organised events are used to benefit the children. In recent years PTA funds have been used to:
- purchase new equipment for classrooms
- refurbish desks and purchase furniture
- purchase gym equipment
- purchase Science equipment
- contribute towards the installation of a new climbing wall
- resurface the outdoor play area
- purchase new toys
- provide materials for the library
Each year the PTA organises a number of events including:
- Halloween disco
- Christmas raffle and fair
- Movie nights
- Summer raffle
- Teddy Bears’ Picnic
- Summer Picnics
