School trips in the locality, as well as being both educational and enjoyable, are great opportunities for teaching children the importance of traffic awareness, crossing roads and courtesy when meeting other pedestrians on the footpaths.  These essential skills for life will be most beneficial when the children move on to high school, are more independent and use public transport.  At Stella Maris School we prepare our children well for their future years.
